C-17 Fuselage Haul
Heavy Transport was contracted to haul the first test article of Boeing’s legendary C-17 cargo plane. The haul took place on July 21st of 2009 and travelled from the Boeing facility at the Long Beach Airport to the Seal Beach Naval Weapons station. The route was only 9.5 miles long but because of the overall length of 161’ the travel time was roughly seven hours.
