Vacuum Flasher Tower
Bragg Crane Service lifted and set a 475,000lb Vacuum Flasher tower at a Southern California refinery on August 29th. The Vacuum unit required a two crane pick using one of our Grove GMK7550's as the tail crane and a Liebherr LR1400 in heavy lift configuration. Bragg Crane Service also had a Grove GMK5275 as teh assist crane on the project using the crane and a man basket to remove rigging on the top of the unit. During the project Bragg Crane Service encountered and overcame unique challenges including extremely limited space to fit the Vacuum tower and three cranes. Despite the limitations of tight spaces and big numbers the careful planning and attention to the smallest of details resulted in a smooth and seemingly effortless lift of the Vacuum Flasher Unit.
