Salt Lake City Water Treatment Facility
Using our Liebherr LR1280 in heavy-lift, Bragg Crane Service lifted and set a 180,000 lb digester lid for the Salt Lake City Water Treatment Facility. The 96 foot diameter lid was picked up, walked 100 yards and set on its current resting spot over a two hour period. The walking radius of the crane was 80 feet and the radius that the lid was set at was 90 feet.
For 65 years Bragg Crane Service has provided safe, efficient, and exceptional crane services to customers across the United States. This project is another successful example of what Bragg Crane Service is bringing to Salt Lake City and the intermountain region.
Gerber Construction Inc. would like to extend our appreciation for the services rendered by Bragg Crane at the Salt Lake City Wastewater Treatment Plant Digester Project. It was a privilege to work with Bragg Crane and they exceeded our expectations in all areas. The experience they brought to the project proved evident as we worked with their field personnel as well as project manager David Johansen. His knowledge of the crane and lifting procedures was a big help to our field workers as they prepared the crane pad for the lift. The pre-planning and coordination that went into this lift helped us to realize that Bragg Crane has been in this business for a long time. It is not often that we get to work with contractors that bring the same level of experience to the table as Bragg Crane did. The challenging pick was performed safely and in the schedule that we expected.
Bragg Crane Services has left our construction team with nothing but favorable impressions. We look forward to working together again in the future and would recommend their services to any future customer.
